Daniel Craig, Angelina Jolie To Reunite In New Bond Film
According to Britain’s The Sun newspaper, Angelina Jolie has been asked to play the latest James Bond girl.
The recent news comes off the back of reports last month that Jolie was at the top of the shortlist for the lead female role.
The Sun claims Jolie, 30, has seen the script and she would play the seductive Russian Double Agent Vesper Lynd. But is insisting the role is toughened up before she is willing to accept.
“Angelina would rather play a baddie than eye candy,” reports an insider.
“Casino Royale” is based on Ian Fleming’s James Bond novel and is due to be released in the fall of 2006. The film is directed by the “GoldenEye” director Martin Campbell
Jolie and Craig co-starred in the first Tomb Raider movie.
